John McAfee: Did the crypto enthusiast fake His death?
John McAfee is still making headlines after his death. Allegedly, the developer of the anti-virus program of the same name killed himself in Spain in 2021. A new documentation should now prove the opposite.
Netflix released a new movie titled “The Hell With It: The Wild World of John McAfee”. In the documentary, the filmmakers investigate the mysterious death of the crypto enthusiast. Did John McAfee really die?
The documentary filmmaker managed to get an interview with his ex-girlfriend Samantha Herrera. According to Herrera, McAfee is currently located in Texas. In the documentary Herrera reports:
“I don’t know if I should say this, but two weeks ago, after his death, I got a call from Texas: ‘It’s me, John. I paid people to pretend I was dead, but I’m not dead’.”
Herrera claims that McAfee said to her: “There are only three people in this world who know that I am still alive.” After that, he allegedly asked her to go into hiding with him.

According to Herrera, her relationship with McAfee began when she was 18 years old. They lived in Belize until someone shot their neighbor, Gregory Faull of Florida. John McAfee was the main suspect, as it is known that there were several quarrels between him and Faull.
Herrera’s relationship with McAfee ended when McAfee suffered a heart attack and was returned to the United States. There he was then arrested. McAfee then left Herrera at the border.
In the documentary Herrera tells: “His version of the story is that people are after him because he didn’t pay the government. The government wanted to harm him and eliminate him”.

According to the film, McAfee is said to have later married ex-prostitute Janice Dyson. McAfee had to continue his escape from the authorities after that. He made it to Europe, but was arrested in Spain and taken into custody. In a Spanish prison, McAfee officially committed suicide in June 2021.
However, before the suicide, McAfee tweeted that it is not his fault if he dies in prison.
Janice, the wife of John McAfee, is still trying to get his body back from Spain. The se has been in a morgue for over a year. For conspiracy theorists, this is a found food. They are of the opinion that in reality his body is not lying in the morgue at all.
Janice keeps tweeting that she wants to get her husband’s body back and do an independent autopsy.

The producer of the film, Charlie Russell, claims that McAfee invited him to go on the run with him and shoot the film. After a sophisticated plan to meet blindfolded in Switzerland failed, the interviews took place online. “The Wild World of John McAfee” consists of the recordings from the interviews.
Speculation that McAfee is still alive apparently caused a stir on social media.
John McAfee and Herrera: Is his ex-girlfriend telling the truth?
When asked about Herrera’s claims that McAfee called her after his death, Russell explained that he didn’t know what to make of it.
“She says it, and then she looks at the camera, and I don’t know if she really believes it, it’s real or not.”
John’s millionaire widow Janice McAfee dismisses Herrera’s Claims:
“Oh, how I wish that were true. If John were alive, I’m sure he wouldn’t be hiding in Texas.”
The crypto enthusiast and alleged murderer could actually still be alive. In the crypto space and on Netflix, however, there have already been reports of much stranger cases.
