Samsung Galaxy S10, the flagship phone of South Korean tech giant, will include a dedicated secure storage function designed for cryptocurrency private keys. Samsung has confirmed that via press release.
In November, Sirin Labs presented the first blockchain-based phone. Now, the mobile mogul created a phone for crypto users.
Yesterday, Samsung released its new Galaxy S10.

As it turns out, the new phone includes a new function targeted towards cryptocurrency users in the form of the Samsung Knox.

Samsung explains the new feature in the press release:
“Galaxy S10 is built with defense-grade Samsung Knox, as well as a secure storage backed by hardware, which houses your private keys for blockchain-enabled mobile services.”
The new S10 is an upgraded version of the previous phone from that series. It can charge other phones wirelessly, the camera system is built on ‘advanced intelligence’. The device has many more new features.
There is not much information about the Knox solution. Samsung representatives have not commented on that topic yet. We only know that Samsung has joined a growing line of smartphones designed with cryptocurrencies in mind.
